I greet you in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus the Christ.
I was born April 18, 1972, in Baltimore, Maryland. As a child I knew God had a purpose
for my life but I wasn't sure what it was. My father died when I was six. Being brought up in church by my mother, I knew
what it meant to be religious. I didnt need religion, I needed a personal, intimate, love relationship with my heavenly Father.
I knew Christ could be my redeemer at the age of seven. Sure, I knew John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." I could quote Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
When I was alone in my bedroom at the age of 14, I realized that God knows all and I needed to confess to Him what he
already knew about me.
I prayed like this:
"Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner, and I am sorry. I need a Savior. I know I cannot
save myself. I believe by faith that Jesus, your Son, died on the cross to be my Savior. I believe He arose from the grave
to live as my Lord. I turn from my sin. I ask You, Lord Jesus, to forgive my sins and come into my heart. I trust you as my
Savior and receive you as my Lord. Amen. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me."
I had knowledge from the Bible through classes given at the church I was attending. Overcoming my fear of
public speaking, I was elevated to teacher, then later to the position of Walking Deacon at 19 years old. While growing and
developing in my church, my Pastor went home to God. I felt as if a piece of the church died with him.
After losing my Minister and my direction at age 21, I left the church. Without any firm instruction in the
Word of God, I allowed myself to be placed in compromising positions, Club hopping, drinking, and living a worldly life.
While out with some associates one late evening we were waiting outside a local club. A gunman aimed and
shot several bullets into the crowd. I was less than 15 feet from him and still not one of the bullets hit me. Divine intervention
had taken place. God who is faithful and just would not allow me to be harmed. It came to my remembrance at that moment that
the blood of Jesus covers me and He is my protector. I studied the Word of God for several years away from the church.
Needing Christian fellowship, at the age twenty-eight I joined Mount Pleasant Church and Ministries. Under the leadership
and teaching of Bishop Clifford M. Johnson Jr., I learned the principals of believing. This teaching brought me to a broken
(humble/meek) state where my Lord can use me. Thank you for your faithfulness Bishop.
A God given blessing entered my life in the person of Loredana, whose physical stunning beauty radiates with
her spiritual glow. Through prayer and supplication our request was made known to God. Upon His answer, we were married on
April 21, 2001.
I declare this day before Jesus, that with my wife Loredana and daughters Breanna and Dasia, my brothers
in Christ, "The Wise Men and Wise Men Ministries", will go forth boldly into all the world proclaiming the gospel (good news)
of Jesus Christ.
I found out that there is a God in Heaven who loves me as I am not as I felt I should
be.
His Word tells us that He loves us as we are. That love will save us from our sins and
make us what we are to be as children of God.
Romans 3:10 "As it
is written, There is none righteous, no, not one...."
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"
