I was born in the city of Baltimore Maryland on December 30, 1958.
For as long as I can remember I possessed a love for music. At the age of nine, I began singing with a group in my neighborhood
named "the guys from my way". When hearing the sounds of a band that practiced in a nearby basement, I know I wanted to learn
how to play an instrument
My father gave me my first guitar when I was seventeen years old. For a full year I dedicated my days and nights to practicing
on this instrument. With skills learned and shaping with time I began playing for various bands around the Baltimore area.
God did not interfere with my ability to perform with a talent that caused people to stop, look, and, lend an ear to my playing.
Even though I was outside the will of God for my life, I felt He had something more than this planned for me. At that time
in my life I did not know about the anointing of God and how it would enhance this gift of music He granted me.
While in public and trying to appear important I met a young lady and asked her if she would go out with me. Her answer
was yes, but to my surprise she gave me an ultimatum. Her requirement was that I had to accompany her to church first. With
my hidden agendas still in tack, I said yes to her mandate and to church I went. Though me natural eye was focused on that
young lady and my mind concentrated on a future relationship with her, God had His own agenda for me.
Instead of getting to know her on our night out, I got to know Jesus. By the moving of the Holy Spirit, my eyes and mind
became focused and concentrated on the relationship I really needed with the lord as my savior. The thought of dating that
young lady lost its value to me. That evening I gave my life to Christ. I became a member of First Apostolic Faith Church.
I was baptized and received the right hand of fellowship.
When my life changed so did my music. I have been playing for Jesus every since. The sound created from my guitar was more
than skill, style, and talent when I gave my all to the Lord. Gods anointing is now in the sound of the music I play. Under
His anointing I learned to play piano and a few other instruments. In 1991 God gave me a vision of a music ministry. While
trusting Gods direction for my newfound life, I met Loretta Seivers in 1995. We were married on May 24. 1997. Our lives are
enriched with a family consisting of two daughters, Beonca, and Shaunda, and three granddaughters.
By the year 2001 the music ministry vision manifested its self. The Holy Spirit began bring together a group of men with
the same God given vision. With conformation, the ministry took on the name, The Wise Men and Wise Men Ministries. This group
of men have been glorifying, magnifying, and praising God together in word and song every since. I thank God for the opportunity
to be of service to Him.
